Vision
Peppers Noosa Resort required an Acoustic Plant Room for their bin compactor to minimise the noise within the resort facilities.
Execution
Located in the middle of the resort, the Acoustic Plant room was designed to fit behind the main building and designed with noise minimisation as the main priority.
The Plant Room Consists of a large purpose built acoustic swing door, exhaust system, structural steel portal frame and kingspan cladding for the building facade. Challenges were working in a ‘live’ environment, strict delivery and noise restrictions and built 300mm off the rear retaining wall.
